After attaining my college degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Event Management and working as an event coordinator in Chicago, I have worked with a number of couples and specifically brides. I realize that planning your wedding is one of the biggest and most important events of your life. I also realize that this special event can take up most of your energy, leaving your Honeymoon unplanned.

This is where I come in. I have worked with numerous couples from one year out to a few months out to plan their spectacular getaway. Honeymoons are for your to relax and celebrate after your wedding, and I am here to help my clients realize their ultimate honeymoon. With no planning and booking stresses, you are able to give me the details and leave me to do the busy work while you work on your wedding or catch up on those emails. 

Having a background in weddings gives me insight into what you're currently going through planning your own wedding, and to give you some relief. From the city to the wine lands to the bush, I have experienced all that South Africa has to offer and am excited to work with you planning your next trip to this incredible country. 

My two week adventure began in the metropolis that is Cape Town. Our days were filled with incredible food, art and culture and spectacular views of the surrounding Table Mountain, Lions Head and the historic avenues of the Old Town. Cape Town has something to offer everyone, whether you are looking to stay in the city itself or explore the coastal locations.

Our next stop to the wine lands didn't disappoint. We stayed first in Constantia. Just a short drive from Cape Town, you can easily visit here for a day trip or split your time between the city and countryside. We next explored the picturesque town of Franschhoek. The seamless view of mountains and vineyards is more perfect than you could imagine and will continue to take your breath away as you explore this idyllic town. 

A visit to South Africa is not complete without exploring 'The Bush' and I spent half of our trip exploring different game parks and experiencing Safari at its best. Beginning in Umfolozi at the recently opened Mthembu Lodge, here I was able to enjoy the perfect blend of modern aesthetics and sustainable ideals while exploring the former royal hunting grounds for the Zulu kingdom. We continued on to Phinda, a beautiful private game reserve with &Beyond properties scattered about with each property based upon the different terrain and surroundings be its Sand Forest or the mountains. Our last excursion was to Sabi Sand Reserve within Kruger National Park. Here, Dulini Lodge and Dulini River Lodge welcomed us with open arms and provided us with some of the most stunning game viewing. 

South Africa is an iconic experience that is perfect for couples celebrating their honeymoon, families with children young and old, and even multi-generational families traveling together. I will be delighted to work with you to create an unforgettable experience that will take your breath away and open the doors of Africa to you.
